System EIDAIK SO-O D7-25 The basic needs of man can be frustrating, especially when traveling through space and the equipment fails. What happened to me is the fact that my toilet died in time of great need. Looks like the vegetables and fruits I previously gathered were not that well received by my body resulting in speed-runs to the known place in unknown space. The problem is that the three shells on my toilet stopped working. I had to find a supplement and time was short as my stomach was about to explode in the worst kind of manner. After quickly searching all over the ship I found a laser scrubber (yeah the one you use to remove space dust from your ships hull). I had to modify the frequency of the scrubber as not to be dangerous to my skin and well… use it. It took several adjustment of the laser […]
System PYRAMOE VC-P B53-19 Getting lost in space is bad enough, getting lost in space with a barely working ship is worse. Getting thrown into deep space without knowing how and with minimal fuel while crashing into an ice planet is just damn right F@#&ed up luck. But at least it’s not my luck, but ht luck of a guy I found stranded in the system I was recently exploring. I was just minding my own business when I picked up a really weak emergency signal from one of the planets I was scanning. I tried to hail anyone who might be sending the signal but i got no answer. Realizing that anyone who was sending the signal might not have the power to boost it enough, and thus not having the power to actually respond to my hail, I moved closer to the planet and tried again. A strange […]
System Lagoon Sector FB-X C1-24 Always fly with a clear head, because even the fact that space is big and there are great voids between the planets and stars you never know what might hit you. This came abundantly clear to me yesterday as I found an alien creature living in space right after exiting hyperspace. It had the most ridiculous figure similar to the Walpiri whale and a head that closely resembled the 16th president of a state existing back on Earth in the 19th century. I believe his name was Lincoln. The creature was also wearing a funny hat and as it was flying through space it was releasing many different colored gases. I was mesmerized by this creature right from the start and tried to catch it. I wanted to land on its back and use it as free propulsion. After almost thirteen hours the image started […]
System DROJU RS-W C4-5 In space the vacuum is not the only danger to you, but also its inhabitants. And I ain’t just talking about the rocks floating in space that occasionally cross your path. Yesterday as I was scouting a new system I came across an earth-like planet. Seeing an opportunity to stock up on some food, and stop living off of synthesized nutrition, I flew to the subtropical part of the planet and landed on a meadow near a forest. As I exited the ship a marvelous site greeted me. The feeling of grass under my feet reminded me of home, the meadow stretched around me and revealed a scenery of very old trees covered by moss just above the ground, and long vines hanging down from the branches. The nostalgia of this place brought me back to my youth as I remembered the days I used to […]
When I arrived at Smoot Station, everything went smoothly – no wonder, it is the best station with high-tech gear in a hundred light years or more. For a bit of cash I had my Cobra repaired and outfitted for combat. I even bought some extra straps to hold my science fiction collection when I recover it. It was time to head back and find me a piece of Cheese.
System AUCOKS SZ-X C 17-9 For the first time since the beginning of this endeavour, I decided to write a journal of all the things I witnessed. For instance today, as I was scanning a seemingly uninteresting ice planet since there was nothing better in the region, when my sensors detect an abnormal formation on the planet surface.
